Coming Up!!

Just popping in to let you know to expect some fun this Friday 1st April from 7.30am.....I'm participating in my first ever blog hop! Have you ever done one? It's simple - you follow the links on the blog posts, leaving a comment on each one, then email the organiser when you're finished to be in the draw for beautiful handmade goodies!

This Blog Hop is of members of the Inklings team (my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around Australia) and is in honour of the beginning of the Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue. So expect to see beautiful creations from very talented ladies using some gorgeous new products!

So drop back on Friday, with a coffee, and prepare to enjoy some inspiration!

See you then!

Sneak Peek!

Hello - how has your week been?

I hope you have been enjoying the little tidbits I've been posting this week. To end the week I've something to show you that's all brand new!

The Stampin' Up! Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue is just around the corner - it's available from 1st April. These beautiful stamps and papers are just some of the lovely new things we have to play with!

This little birdcage has been begging me to make it into something but I haven't found quite the right thing yet - any suggestions?

My Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue launch is on Saturday night, 9th April. We'll be making two birthday cards that night - and I'll post more details a bit closer to the night. RSVP is essential and I am already starting to get a few so if you'd like to come along please let me know soon!

See you soon!

Stamp Club!

Last night was Stamp Club. The girls asked for a class on brayering - so here's what I came up with!

This card was lots of fun - simple and elegant!

This card uses the Presto Patterns Specialty papers that are currently available in the Summer Mini Catalogue - but only until the end of March!

Tomorrow I'll finish up the week with a little sneak preview..........bye for now!

A Bright Day!

Here's a little card I made for a themed swap earlier in the year - not my usual colour choices - these are all from the Brights family!

I'm looking forward to Stamp Club tonight and I'll pop back tomorrow to show you what we made!

Wednesdays Child

Just popping in to show you a card for the day!

This is the Thankyou I made to send to people after my son was born. It's simple and quite quick to make - which is great because there were so many to make!

I'd love to hear what you think about the cards you've seen this week so far - please leave me a comment to say hello!

And as a little bit of a bonus - here's a tea bag card I made as a gift.

See you tomorrow!

A Card for Tuesday

Hello again!

Today's card is one I made using an inlaid embossing technique. The new Square Lattice Embossing folder is perfect for this technique.

I made this card in several colourways for a class on Colour Theory.

My mother-in-law happened to be visiting us on the night of the class and she - who had never made a card before! - made these lovely cards in the days following. She has a 'quilter's eye' for colour and I think her combinations are stunning!

I hope you're enjoying seeing some of the things from my photo archives of the last few months - there's more to come! See you tomorrow.......

Card a Day Challenge!

I hope you're all having a lovely start to the week!

I've been so busy through the start of the term that I've not posted much. To try to make amends I've decided to post a card every day this week!

To start the week off, I thought this card I made for my husband in the middle of February might be something you'd enjoy!

We don't 'do' Valentines but this year the fateful day coincided with the availability of a Grandmother as babysitter - so we had a very nice evening out!

See you tomorrow!

Class by Mail

The beginning of term has certainly been full of good things! After re-scheduling my March class several times I've decided to offer it 'by mail'.

If you'd like to have a go at making these sweet little boxes, drop me an email and I'll get a kit to you, complete with printed instructions for how to make these two small boxes. The kits include everything you need to make and decorate the boxes - you'll just need some adhesive, double sided tape like Sticky Strip works well. There is some variation in colours for the Apple Blossoms box and Newsprint design for the Fancy Flower box. I'll do my best to help you with any specific colour requests. All the kits still look beautiful and achieve the same look of the finished box. Kits cost $15.

I look forward to seeing you all in the first week of April for a class in which we'll make some Birthday cards.
And don't forget it's just a few weeks left of the Summer Mini Catalogue and Sale-a-bration! If you'd like some more information, let me know!
